The faint pink/purple undertone is designed to reflect the colors of the sunset clouds in the original landscape. This undertone is chosen to ensure the artwork is more visible both under the sun and in the shade. The undertone is much less noticeable when it's out on a course. During production, we tested several leather undertones and found that when the head cover in its natural habitat(outdoors), the subtle purple/pink hue brought out the artwork and depth of the landscape much better than a traditional tan base.
